Summer at the Library!

The Lima Public Library has some exciting things coming for the summer! Want to save money while you explore this summer? Check out 1 of our 3 Empire Passes to visit NYS parks for free. Try 1 of our 2 passes to the National Warplane Museum in Geneseo. This pass will allow up to 2 adults and 2 children under 18 entry to the museum. Certain restrictions apply.

We have an exciting online author discussions series! Sit in on book discussions with national best-selling authors! You can register online or catch recordings of previous talks at https://libraryc.org/lima. On Thursday 7/7 at 9 PM, we will be hosting Alka Joshi to discuss The Henna Artist. On Thursday 7/14 at 12 PM, we will be hosting David Allen to discuss Getting Things Done. On Wednesday 8/3 at 2 PM, we will be hosting Franchise: The Golden Arches in Black America.  Stay tuned for more authors and for dates when the Friends of the Lima Public Library will be hosting watch party events.

Our Summer Reading Program 2022: Oceans of Possibilities registration opens on Thursday 6/23. Our game starts on Monday 6/27. Keep track of your reading time and activities on your game board with stickers! Do ocean activities in the library and at home. Our game board can go with you on vacation so you can still participate if you’ll be out of town this summer! The game ends on Friday 7/29. Be sure to complete at least 25 simple activities (there will be lots to choose from) by Monday 8/1 to earn your prize bag!

Spend your summer at the Lima Public Library!
