EDIT: This StoryWalk is no longer at Mark Tubbs Park but keep an eye out! You never know where it might turn up next!
While you’re out and about in Lima, stop by Mark Tubbs Park because you’ll see something very special from the Lima Public Library there! Have you heard of a StoryWalk® ? You may have visited one at one of our neighboring libraries. A *StoryWalk® is a children’s picture book printed on signs that you can follow along and read outside. Our Story Walk features the book, Big Dance by Aoife Greenham. We thought it would be the perfect opportunity to support the Town and Village of Lima’s partnership with Livingston County’s Be Well initiative. What is Be Well? It simply asks you to, “Eat better, move more, and stress less.” Big Dance has lots of fun ways for your whole family to “move more.” Tag our Facebook page in your pictures when you visit!
Just one of the pages you’ll see on the Lima Public Library StoryWalk!
*The StoryWalk® Project was created by Anne Ferguson of Montpelier, VT and developed in collaboration with the Kellogg-Hubbard Library. Storywalk® is a registered service mark owned by Ms. Ferguson.
