2019 Summer Reading Registration Form
Our good friend, Waldo, has stopped by to visit us! You may remember our 2016 Summer Reading Program. We walked Waldo to Rio de Janeiro for the Summer Olympics, with each page equating to 1 mile. I wonder what adventures Waldo will be getting into this summer. Stay tuned! Summer Reading 2019 is coming soon.

Food Preservation 101: Canning
Are you interested in canning but don’t know where to start? Then this is the workshop for you. Learn the difference between boiling water bath canning and pressure canning, see the tools used for canning, learn about the process of preparing a jar for the canner and see many examples of canned goods. If the weather permits we will use an outdoor propane burner to process jars in a pressure canner. Participants can return to the library the the next day to pick up his/her sealed jar. If the weather is “iffy” the instructor will demonstrate how to use a pressure canner.
Presented by: Barb Brenner
